Little fun fact about Alexias: “I’m actively involved in martial arts and hold a black belt in Kajunkenbo karate.”
Alexias began formal lessons for piano performance at age six. He continued to study under Dr. Jason Kwak at Texas State University and received a Bachelor of Music degree in 2016. In 2019, he graduated with a Master’s of Music degree in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University under Michael Gurt.
Alexias performed many solo recitals locally and abroad, including the Musicartissimo Music Festival in Plovdiv, Bulgaria (2015) and the Friday Concerts at Schmitt’s series in Overland Park, Kansas.
Alexias instructs piano for all student levels. He believe in the words of pianist Vladimir Horowitz (1903-1989): “the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is practice.”
He is available online and in person at the Lone Star Southwest studio located in the Arbor Trails shopping center. Alexias teaches on Mondays and Fridays
